I offer a unique approach to learning the cello. Learning an instrument is more about learning to "play", than any other factor. Sure there's work involved, but if your practice is play, then it hardly seams like work. Furthermore, if you're enjoying yourself, you're more likely to stick at it.

Lessons are fun, relaxed and most importantly, bring great results. My approach is based largely on the Suzuki Method, with Kodály ideologies and my own insights gained through years of performing and teaching instruments of the string family.

I have a current Working with Children Check Card. I teach privately from my home studio and offer affordable lesson prices.

If you don't yet own a cello and want to try it first to see if you like it, I have a cello that new students can use during lesson times, at no extra cost. When it comes time to buy a cello I'm happy to assist here also, with advice on what to look for in a cello and where to find one at a good price. Hope to hear from you.
